Unit 7 - Write an opinion essay

The government plans to introduce school on Saturday mornings in order to impove the level of education. In my view, this would have some negative consequences especially for students.

I believe that a minimum or two days a week are necessary. To rest if they put another day to go to school, the students will do a revolution because sometimes we need to disconnect of school and teachers.

I think that the only poitive of this new day of school is that it will help to raise the level of the students.

Adam: Yeah, go on then. Ask me something.
Cris: OK, I'll ask you the interesting ones. Do you express yourself more through your hairstyle or your clothes?
Adam: Er, through my clothes.
Cris: Yes, me too. Right, do you usually know what music someone likes from the clothes they wear?
Adam: Oh, that's a difficult one. Not always, no.
Cris: No, me neither. OK. How about this one – do you prefer to hang out with a group of friends, or alone?
Adam: I prefer a group.
Cris: Oh, I don't. I prefer to relax on my own.
Adam: We're a bit different then.
Cris: It looks like it, yes.

Adam - Yes, hi. I was given theses jeans as a present but they're too small. Is it OK if I change them?
Cris - That should be OK. Have you got the receipt?

Cris - OK. Well actually, we've sold out of those jeans, I'm afraid. You can choose something else if you like.
Adam - Oh, right. Can I try these things on?
Cris - Yes, sure. The changing rooms are over there.
Adam - What do you think of this coat? It isn't too long, is it?
Cris - No, I don't think so. It's really funky.
Adam - OK. I'll take it then. Thanks.
